Hi, Sandy! You are an excellent writer..so clear and concise and your spirit flows through it. I love cats too. And I've seen them react like that around babies as well..they're so funny! And they all have their own personalities. I've just got one right now but he entertains and loves me heaps!*~;) Thanks for sending me the link to this article {{{{Hugs}}}}}

Hi Sandy~I loved the article and personality differences of the cats. The pictures really add a lot. Yes,Alaskan cats must be tough or they don't survive long. My dear old Spock made it 11yrs.out here in rural Anchorage,before 'something' got him. He had at least 13 lives in that time!
Keep up the good work.

Hi Sandy, I really enjoy your style. I love the various pictures, and the personalities of the cats. I remember when we were living in Alaska many years ago and how our cats were. Northern Alaska is not a place for delicate cats.I really enjoy your site.

Hi Girl! smile

Yeah, they sure are good entertainment! It's really a ball around here sometimes with the inside pride, and the outside one that comes in. smile They really do have unique personalities, and even their similarities seem to set them apart! Thanks for the compliments, and for stopping by!

Hi Marla,

Thanks for coming by again! smile Yes, not a place for anything delicate... at least we don't have grizzlies on this island! As it is, the eagles and wolves take care of a lot of them, but boy do the wild ones multiply! smile We spayed the wild mama so she could have a better life, and now she thinks we're hers...lol

Sandy, what a delightful article. I have seen cats act this way around babies and I once had a dog that would have nothing to do with a baby. LOL Animals, like people, have their own distinctive personalities.

I really enjoyed my visit here. The photos of your cats are marvelous and the article flows so nicely. Keep up the good work. I will drop by again soon.

Hi Sandy, what adorable kitties! My favorite is the black one with the white toes and stuff. Hobo, I think. So, have they forgiven you yet, now that the baby is gone?

I really enjoyed the article about all your Alaska tough cats, and the photo's are a delight. Thank you. Hope you're doing well, Sandy. Renie

Hi Mary, good to 'see' you again! smile That's funny about the dog - I usually think of dogs as 'people' animals, but you're right, they have personalities just like us. I know some people who'll have nothing to do with a baby, too! smile

Take care, Friend, I hope all is well in your neck of the woods!

Yep, that's Hobo! She's really beautiful, she has the longest white whiskers I've ever seen on a cat. She's also quite outspoken - she has something to 'say' no matter what you're doing! smile The other 15 yr. old is - well, old - but Hobo still gets around like a youngster!

I'm glad you like the pics - the one of Ashes makes us all laugh because he has such a 'suave little lion' attitude all the time, and it really shows in that photo! smile

Thanks for stopping by, Renie! I hope all is well for you and yours!
