The Ozarks ~ I did a feature travel article for a magazine once, on going to the Ozarks for vacation. I sure would like to be there now, as I wake up on April 30th to find snow on the ground again! I had to look at the cruise to Ketchikan first and I must tell you, that when I graduated from Columbia Hospital School of Nursing, the Public Health Service was trying to recruit registered nurses to go to Ketchikan. I got as far as the bug screen for my car and backed down. This was way back in 1956! Well, I never got to Ketchikan, so I have never been to Alaska.What magnificent scenery it must have.
