» Elizabeth259 - Sleep and relaxation

James,

Thank you for the links and the information. I visited the Peace Club link, very expensive to join, but the relaxation page was really nice. I have a terrible time with relaxation and falling asleep, I've tried everything with very little result so far. I continue to work on meditation techniques, because I know it takes time and patience, but I cannot clear my mind for anything. I once read that you should let your mind go to those things its thinking about, then work through them, but my mind never stops! It just keeps finding more and more things to think about. The only thing a doctor has been able to do to help is prescribe sleeping meds, which don't give me that real 'peaceful' sleep, just a knock out type of feeling.

Hopefully, with continuing practice, the meditation will start to work for me one day. Take care!
