» jerrib - I worked

with a man that had narcolepsy once. He kept his office door open so we could wake him when we noticed he was sleeping. He was a probation and parole officer and sometimes would fall asleep with probtioners or parolees were there to check in with him. I didn't stay at that job long. Too crazy for me!

I had a man working for me with this problem. I would tap his hand with a pencil when I noticed that he was falling asleep. He was a very smart man but the illness did have a negative impact on his career.
