» tamara_peters - Thanks James!

Thanks for the really informative article, James. I've suffered with RLS since my late teens/early twenties. In my case, it was believed to have been brought on by pregnancy. It disappeared after my first birth, came back after the second, and has been ongoing ever since. It appears to be cyclical in that it does disappear for varying amounts of time, only to return with a vengeance.

I believe my mother may have had RLS as well, but was never diagnosed.

I'm looking forward to part II.

Regards,
Tamara

Thanks for the posting Tamara. I myself suffer form at least two sleep disorders - Severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea and Periodic Limb Movement Disorder. From my research I have found that RLS can get very severe and that they are still seeking a cure. I hope that Part 2 will be helpful to you and others who have to live with this little known condition.

Take care,
