» Red - living with Psoriasis...

Shannon,

I had a severe outbreak of Psoriasis in March. It is suspected that this is caused by stress, due to my husband's heart attacks and lack of employment for over a year while waiting for bypass surgery.

This outbreak was all over my body except face. It covered my legs so completely that there was no space left untouched. The doctor suspected it had gone into the walls of my lungs. (I am not sure this was the case.)

I made several trips out of town trying to find a good dermatologist, which I finally accomplished. She wanted me to take UV treatments. The first one affected my eyes, though they were protected with googles as well as a towel. I could not continue. She then prescribed an ointment of tar and coal. (Celestroderm - V) It did help a little but did not take the itch away. I have been taking a daily dose of 5 Benadryl capsules to enable me to live without going mad from the itch.

My sister happened to be talking to me and told me she had a home remedy for Psoriasis. She has never had it nor has any other member of my family but she collects home remedies and a friend had given it to her. I used it and it worked great. The Psoriasis, while not entirely gone, is 90% better. This home remedy is an all natural herbal remedy. I recommend this remedy to anyone that would like to have it. Just drop me a line.

Of course, I am not a physician, so people should check with their doctors before using it. If you would like to have it, let me know.

I am so happy you have found a remedy that works for you. Natural treatments like yours as well as new medical treatments that patients may not have received information on from their doctor are exactly the type of therapies I want to make available to my readers. Thank you for your offer to share your treatment with others. After researching this topic in depth, I cannot believe the number of people who suffer daily from this disease.

I have been searching for an answer to dealing with psoriasis. My future husband suffers from it and I have no knowledge at all about this skin disorder. I would be so grateful if you could send me the remedy you are using. I feel so helpless in trying to help him.
thank you

Hello Everyone,
After reading Reds letter I was amazed as this sounds just like me.
When I was about 21yrs old I went to the doctors because I had an outbreak of sunspots and itchy little spots all over my whole body, my face, neck, trunk, back of the hands, legs everywhere except the palms and soles of my feet.
The doctor did not know what it was. He prescribe
some cream for Scabies, which did not work. After going to about five different doctors I finally found one who had to look up his Skin Book and found out that Gutache Psoriasis
(excuse the spelling). It is apparently cause by a viral infection (tonsillitis)and being prescribed Penicillin for the infection, but being allergic to Penicillin, which I am so I got Gutache Psoriasis. I have just had another out break because I had tonsillitis and my doctor, (after telling him i'm allergic to Penicillin) prescribed antibiotics from the Penicillin family. I am now 31. I just love this site, and would love to check out Reds natural remedy. Thank you and I hope I've helped someone else seeking answers.

I would LOVE to have the home remedy for psoriasis. I've been living with psoriasis since I was 4 yrs old. I'm now 29 & it's really stressful. If you could please send the remedy, I would truly appreciate it. I'm to the point where I will try anything!
