» kevster1049 - Tinea Treatment

In response to Tinea Treatment posted by linehopper:

I have had tinea versicolor for about the past 8 years. I have used Daktarin anti fungal cream, with little success then I read somewhere about using anti dandruff shampoo as a body wash. I bought Nizoral (although apparantly Selsun blue works also). Different sites give different methods of application but I lathered it on dry skin with a little water then left it for 10 minutes, then washed it off. I continued this for 2 weeks, daily and it's gone!

Good luck!
