There was a discussion group on PLEVA and it has disappeared! What happened? I hope all the participants in that discussion find eachother again!

Why would the site dump an active discussion group? I think we all need to exchange email addresses so we can keep in touch or meet up at a new site if something like this happens again!

I am so glad I found this group again... I was a little worried when it said that it had been taken offline. It's been such a useful forum for us to exchange remedy's and updates on each other situations. I wonder why the webmasters took it offline. Anyways... I just wanted to say thanks to you guys... you've made it that much more bearable... At least I know I am not the only one suffering from this condition!

My son was diagnosed with pleva in august 2006, he was 7 at the time. They say that salmanella brought it on. After suffering since June of 2006 it finally cleared up in Feb. NOw it's back. THe poor kid has scars all over his body. His Dermatologist says it's a kind of blood disorder and scared me with the thought that this could develope into lymphoma. Has anyone else heard of this and did anyone else have this set off by a virsus or infection?

My son was diagnosed in June of 2006 And the dermatologist said not to pay any attention or look on the internet. of course I did and was upset. I too saw the articles on lymphoma. Has your son had more headaches or migraines since hes had Pleva?? Mine has. The sunlight has been great his back and stomach are almost clear. He only has them on hi groin and inner thigh area now. I cant tell if he really has any scars or not it just looks discolored. He was put on erthromycin liquid. He goes back to the dermatologist September. They say they dont know how one gets it. But he didnt act concerned. My aunt works their and he is a good dermatologist and does his own pathology also. Look forward to hearing from you.
