» mel - Anyone have any ideas?

I'm going to Paris in May and am looking for some practical and decent travel clothes. This is a 10 day trip, I want to take minimal luggage, and I am very self-conscious about my weight (just taking this trip makes me nervous!). I wear a size 28W. So I'm looking for fabrics that either don't wrinkle easily or look good wrinkled. I'll be doing LOTS of walking, and would prefer pants over skirts. I do sew also, so that's an option, but I have no clue what fabrics to choose. Help!!!

» Laurie_Ann - idea's for Paris

Depending on your age some european countries perfer women to wear skirts and dresses. I would suggest lots of rayon & cotton light weight skirts, then you could either wear a t-shirt for the casual look or a light blouse to dress it up. The long wrap around skirts seem to be popular right now, so you wont have trouble finding them at a resonable price. I think walking shoes look really cute with long streight skirts and dresses. You could also wear exersize shorts underneith just in case its windy. smile Depending on how long your going for I would plan to wear each article of clothing twice. Here is a tip, only wear simple jewlery and never take it off. Think positivly about your weight, I think we all put tooo much attention on how we look rather than who we are. Your going to have a great time!
