I too am a single mom. My son is 6 and my daughter just turned 3. I agree with what you said "The most destructive of these myths predict that children in fatherless homes will end up as delinquents, drop-outs or teen parents. The truth is that in most cases single moms are doing a great job!" I am so sick of the stereo typing! I live with my parents until I get out on my own and they along with my brother and his girlfriend are great positive influences. My brother is so involved with my kids life. I look forward to reading more of your articles.
