» Jennifer Hollowell - Saving with my infant . . .

. . . well, he's fast growing out of the infant stage! At any rate, I am also a stay-at-home (trying to be a work-at-home) mother. Trying to find ways to cut corners without jeopardizing the care of our son has been a trick.

We opted to make our own babyfood and to nurse him for two years. This eliminated the cost of formula, jarred food and, later, cereal. We used cereal when he was younger because his appetite was huge and we were still learning the ropes.

We've managed to save $140.00 (if no coupons or money savers of any kind were used.) USD each month using this feeding plan.
