Additionally, whether or not something has pagan origins, is as well, irrelevant. The reason is because this still does not answer what Islam teaches, nor what Christianity teaches. I believe it is good to be educated on the origins of all religions, and think that once a person begins to educate themselves on those things, they would indeed find that Islam (among others) has truth to its origins of paganism. But.... this does nothing for what Islam teaches. The same is true for any subject one wants to research, including Christianity or Judaism.
