All of which would seem to raise a rather hairy question about the kind of constitution that will be created for Iraq--what with the Shiis making up the largest body of influence according to the recent election. Will their new constitution be written according to the Shariah? Will Iraq end up being like Iran or will it be a secular state? There are a lot of Judeo/Christians in the U.S. who would like to rewrite our Constitution to be more in line with biblical law.
