I'm wondering about the origins of tragedy. I read something about tragedy first performed in song form before it was dramatized. The tragedy was sung to a melody possibly with accompaniment. And the story was told in verse form. In hexameter with lines rhyming.If this is true then I would be interested in reading the text of classic tragedy in the original language.
Are Greek text available on the internet?
