Ooooo 'Chocolate Ruffles' sounds like just the child I need! I haven't been over to the Heronswood site to see the new catalog yet....I know I will start drooling.

It sounds perfect. If I take out the fern and the 'Palace Purple', I should have room for the 'Chocolate Ruffles' and space to let the poor gold var. carex breathe. Sounds good to me!

Well, Debbie, scan away. Seems to me like we've got a good garden design problem solving group here on the Suite and we'll all dig right in -- won't we, gang? :-)

It's always fun to suppose as long as I'm not the one who has to do the actual digging....or find space for it! smile

You will have to wait until the novelty of a new scanner wears off until I stop throwing images at you so much! smile

I found 'Chocolate Ruffles' so Marge could check it out. I had it paired with Dicentra spectablilis and Bellis along a walkway in the "other" garden.

Still don't have scanning down so please excuse my abilities here!

Oh Debbie, that does look luscious and Barbara's right -- looks like it's been sprinkled with diamond dust. Thanks for putting that one up and keep on scanning!

I keep thinking I'm going to get some Bellis one of these days, but I never have. How do you like it and which one do you have?

That little one is Bellis perennis, (hope I spelled that right) I keep coaxing it into the lawn I like it so much. My neighbor had a larger flowering one that was nice (I don't know which variety it was) but I always liked the little flowering ones, Especially when they bloom during mild spells in winter.

I will have to start calling our rain -- diamond dust! Usually we call it liquid sunshine. smile
