If I take out the fern and the 'Palace Purple', I should have room for the 'Chocolate Ruffles' and space to let the poor gold var. carex breathe. Sounds good to me! Well, Debbie, scan away. I had it paired with Dicentra spectablilis and Bellis along a walkway in the "other" garden. Still don't have scanning down so please excuse my abilities here! My neighbor had a larger flowering one that was nice (I don't know which variety it was) but I always liked the little flowering ones, Especially when they bloom during mild spells in winter.I will have to start calling our rain -- diamond dust! Usually we call it liquid sunshine.
