Thanks, Gay. Actually, the best photos are probably Chris's...he's a much better photographer than I am and I really appreciate his letting me use some of his. I listed his at the bottom of the 'more info.' section. The older snakebark maple I took at Barry Yingers...would dearly love to have one of those trees! The lovely lichen all came from my Mom's Alabama garden. I have some lichen here and there, but none like hers! Rest are from my garden unless I said otherwise.

Prunus serrulata is marvelous. I've seen pictures of it, but don't have one. Sure you don't polish yours, Gay? :-) I've also heard of those who actually do.

I don't know that Peruvian myrtle...do you have a photo of it you could put up for us to see?
