» Gay_Klok - Terrific photos

The photos are marvellous - are they all taken in your garden, Marge. I am a bark person and grow many of them. Also Tibetan cherry, Prunus serrulata with its lovely mahogany coloured bark. I don't polish it with a duster every day as I believe happens in some English gardens :-] though I do try to hurry up the peeling of the old, turning grey bark by rubbing with my hands. many of the ornamental cherries have quite good bark

Another favourite is the almost orange bark of the Myrtus, myrtle, from Peru
