Sandersonia Aurantiaca: Littonia Modesta and Sandersonia
This archived discussion is "read only".
» Marge_Talt - Littonia Modesta and Sandersonia Hello, John and Welcome to Gardening in Shade!I would also love to see a photo of Littonia modesta flowers. Have no clue what this plant's flowers look like - the best I could come up with in a web search was an image of the leaf tip tendrils. As for outlets - in addition to Jojo's nursery - have you talked to Paul Christian? His nursery, Paul Christian - Rare Plants in the UK, has probably the most incredible list of bulbs I've seen. If you're basically interested in US nursery outlets, email me privately and I'll send you some email addresses for some of the nursery folk I know who might be interested so you can contact them. Also, Gary Buckley over at Alpines and Bulbs, here on the Suite, has a lot of contacts in the bulb world - including nursery people...he might have some suggestions for you. As Jojo says, email either one of us your image and we'll put it up in this discussion so we can all see what this plant is like - certainly sounds intriguing with climbing leaf tendrils! -- posted by Marge_Talt
