Plant ExchangeRead the article this discussion is about

Neat article As a member of two groups (and an 'ad hoc' member of another) who do plant sales each spring to support local charities I can fully appreciate what went into this article. One group has the process down to a concise pattern, but gliches do sneak through each year; the next group is a bit more casual...members are always surprised hat my palnts are labeled; the third group is just getting the hang of the process so they are just surprised when they receive plants! Never-the-less all of this makes spring a busy and exciting time around here. Georgene -- posted by Georgene A. Bramlage » Marge_Talt - Re: Thank You! Sounds like you've been there; done that on about every level of exchange that exists:-) I like the third group who are just surprised when they receive plants:-) I love plant exchanges...it's like Christmas because you never know what will be there or what you'll end up with. I always find something that I can use or have been wanting...have lots of plants in my garden that wouldn't be there if it weren't for plant exchanges. -- posted by Marge_Talt

...have lots of plants in my garden that wouldn't be there if it weren't for plant exchanges Marge...I'm with you on the above statement. I learned very inexpensively to love, like or plain hate (rabidly dislike) plants this way. Georgene -- posted by Georgene A. Bramlage » Marge_Talt - Re: Thank You! In response to Re: Thank You! posted by Cercis:Yes, it's a super way to acquire plants. I've gotten some real treasures. Can't say I've acquired any that I learned to hate, but I didn't get involved in exchange until I'd been gardening long enough to pretty well know the thugs when I see them:-) -- posted by Marge_Talt
