Haven't seen this one yet, and, I must say, judging from your review, I probably will wait until it hits cable. That way I can watch a few minutes preview to see if it is really worth watching.

And...no you weren't being too hard on Kilmer and company.

I usually love a good "shoot 'em up, knock 'em down, but strange" Sci-Fi/Action movie but didn't really care for "Red Planet."
