Here is some news on the Star Trek franchise and "Enterprise":

Reports have indicated the UPN will either not renew Enterprise at all
or only renew it for a half season. In this exclusive SFTV.org report,
I have the scoop on what is really going on!

First of all, Enterprise is dead! The ratings have been dropping and
only a large surge when it returns will save it. Even then it is doubtful
due to the high cost of the show and the expected lower returns in
syndication and DVD sales.

Paramount will officially announce that it will be resting the Trek
franchise and will put any dramatized Star Trek on an indefinite hiatus.

You know, I don't think that's such a bad thing. Not only is the theme song really cheesy, I really didn't like the portrayal of the female characters--they seemed so submissive and not strong at all. All the female characters on the previous Star Treks were both sexy and assertive. And the Captain Archer character just couldn't seem to control his anger--he just wasn't very classy at all.
