A friend of mine served as guest editor in April at my topic of friendship. He's a movie buff and wrote about friendship in the movies for me. As follow-up to his article, I'd like to know:

What examples of friendship can you think of from fantasy movies? Also, what lessons can we learn from the portrayed friendships?

Liz, you recommended Enemy Mine to me. I don't recall having seen it, so will check it out. I mentioned it to my friend. He agreed that it was definitely a good movie about friendship!

You also recommended Fellowship of the Ring and referred to the loyalty of Sam Gamgee. Having read the book and seen the movie, I agree!
