Thanks for informing readers that not all folks have good intentions. I feel it's important too to not give up in a few days, when looking for a pet. Working in rescue, I've seen owners and pets reunited after months and even, in one rare case, it had been three years! The main thing, as you mentioned, is identification on your pet.
