I know how and where to upload images to my file, that is not the problem. The problem is my files that I have and have had for ages are not usable. What I am saying is, if I want to use "whatchamacallit" I get a notice that says the file does not exist, but that so called "non-existable" image may already be on one of my pages and viewable to readers!! Yet I cannot retract it from my file to use again, so I have to go to the page on which it is seen and click and save AGAIN in order to put it back in my file again to use again even though it is already there but not there.

An analogy is I have a can of pepsi in my frig. I open the door to pick it up, but even though it is there and I see it, I can't get it because the frig tells me it is not there. So I shut the frig door and twitch my nose at a can in the pantry, then open the frig again, and voila, I can pick up the can that is now there, that has been there the entire time, that I was told was not there.

Why can't we use sig gifs? Not all gifs are animated.
