I love watching my children discover the world all on their own.We consider ourselves unschoolers, because our learning is very flexible and individualized, but we probably wouldn't qualify for the label by the truest definition since we do some parent-initiated learning too. That's the thing about these labels, isn't the beauty of homeschooling that every family has their own special style and approach? I know labels can sometimes be helpful though, in order to identify with others and find support. -- posted by BeckySAHM
