» radio - legality of using pictures of private homes.

I have already completed a small book on the famous Peter Robinson Irish emmigration in 1828 to Ontario Canada. Lots of work but it's done and printed. My next step (three quarters researched) is to do histories of small town's long gone corner stores as an inexpensive tourism souvenir.
Pic on one side and copy on the other. May I take a picture of a now private home which in the past was a corner store? Also my research is back from seniors' homes in various places. May I print their memories without specific permission? The returns on my research is beyond what I expected. Sure would appreciate some feedback..especially from local history authors. Thanks Folks.
