» CrabApple - Keeping new Years Resolutions

Jennie,
We all make them and we all break them, but I feel that this year I will succeed. Last year my resolution was " A crate for everything and everything in a crate" I actually got most of my cupboards sorted and crates for everything. There is still a few to do but I made a very good go of it, and I will finish the job this year.

This years resolution is to do with "health and fitness" and "Enjoying what I have, and not lusting after things that I don't have"

The "Health & Fitness" one is off to a good start as late last year I went on a diet and lost 10 Kg. I intend to keep it off and I didn't gain any over Christmas. I am very aware of it and have given away all my too large clothing, so it will not be economical for me to put on weight.Walking. walking, walking will get me fit and I am getting into the habit of eating lots of salads and fresh fruit.

"Enjoy what I have" should be enjoyable. Firstly I returned all my library books, I have a lot of books of my own so I am going to read all my own books and re read some. Sitting outside in my lovely courtyard for a meal is very enjoyable, just as good as going out to some quaint place to eat just for the atmosphere. I shall take time to smell my roses.

New year is a wonderful time, a time for new beginnings and renewing old acquaintances. Perhaps we should have a new month resolution where we remind ourselves what the New Years resolution was.

Happy New Year.

Crabapple.

I WILL keep my resolutions.

1. Learning to take things as they are. Not making things more difficult, but not taking them too lightly either. Balance, balance, balance.

2. Finish my school. Yup, gotta do it one more time, before the last one.

3. Exercise, eat well.

4. Break my financial goal!

Best,
