» MsPersephone - Self-Empowerment Hi, Jennie --And welcome to Suite 101! Your topic promises to be an interesting and informative one. I do agree with you -- that we must find our passion and work with it, then the rest will follow. I think too many people do what they "should" do in order to please others, only to discover later on that life has passed them by. Some choose to persist in the "should" lane, but others choose to create constructive changes in their lives. I look forward to reading more of your articles, and learning from them! Love -- posted by MsPersephone » RaphaelBlue - So true, so true! I *so* related to this line: "...after a few hours of adrenaline boost, we often feel helpless again and are back to zero." So many times I've felt motivated and enthused about what someone has said only to poop out fairly shortly thereafter! I think that's what they mean by "it's an inside job," right? Most of life's troubles can be summarized with that one tip.I have a feeling you're sharing #8 with us right now, am I right? ("Self-Empowerment"- a labor of love) Good luck on Suite 101, Jennie. I think you'll find some great, supportive people here! -- posted by RaphaelBlue » penpusher - Thank you very much for the warm welcome Dear Mari and Raphael,Thank you guys so much for the warm welcome! I was the former editor for Human Rights topic, so I guess I'm not that new. I personally feel that I'm now more empowered than every before. This triggered me to share the values I learnt along the way. I'm looking forward to learn from fellow editors as well. Thanks again for being so supportive. Warm regards, -- posted by penpusher
