Is indeed bittersweet news, but I guess it's going to motivate me to finally buy a Dreamcast. I *think* that's the console the game David Bowie recently (in the last year or two at least) designed is for...and I'll have to buy the hardware just for the game, can't let anything David Bowie slip by for long!

You're thinking of Omikron. It's a good game, with great music, of course. The Dreamcast also has tons of other AAA games, so if you do pick up one, you can be sure you're getting your money's worth.

Ah, "Omikron," of course! I knew it started with something vaguely "o-shaped" ;)

Have you caught wind of any plans to bring Omikron to PC format? Seems to me like they'd be missing out on a big chunk of the market if they didn't...DB has always been intensely forward-thinking, a visionary in my humble opinion...I find it interesting that he went with a console game--probably tells us something! On the other hand he is very much involved in PC stuff--Internet wise, he's had one of the most developed web sites w/ bells and whistles for as long as I've been on the 'net, as well as interactive CDs, etc...so it just seems like it'd follow suit for the game to go PC.

Thanks for the info...it's gotten me that much closer to the purchase!
