» jerrib - Finally! Glad to have somebody willing to represent our baseball team! And what a team it is.Welcome to Suite101, C.A. I'm sure this place will get under your skin in a positive way. We have a great community here. And now you're part of it! Love to see Washingtonians write here, especially when it's such a favorite topic of mine! I'll be adding your link to my WA State site. Jerri -- posted by jerrib » cliff_aliperti - Ah, the Mariners Excellent article, interesting too. It will be interesting to watch your column progress throughout the remainder of the season so I can try to gain the home-town perspective on the Mariners success.I live on Long Island and have been a Yankees fan since '78, so from the Phelps-Buhner deal, to seeing my favorite Donnie Baseball eliminated in the first round by the M's in '95, I must say your team puts a pit in my stomach---that's what makes them fun for me to watch. Keep up the good work, C.A.! -- posted by cliff_aliperti » wrighter - Re: Ah, the Mariners In response to message posted by cliff_aliperti:Thank you for posting. I'm glad to have a Yankee fan among us. The Yankees are always a tough team. The Mariners will be playing them again soon and probably in the playoffs. It should be fun to watch. -- posted by wrighter -- posted by wrighter
