Father, yesterday I was just about to post my message on the text but a friend arrived and I had to close the computer. Now, when I opened it the message is nowhere to be found. Anyway... i just wanted to tell you that I'm learning a lot from your articles. Some insights may sound like reminders to me but your sharing encourages me to study Scriptures and/or use it often for my prayer. Though I am in a way doing this now in the very sporadic and unstructured way which I employ based on my mood and liking at the moment. I do read the readings of the day before I sleep and I try to dwell on the lines I like but that is all. Indeed, the study of the Scriptures is something laudable and can only be done with seriousness, devotion, dedication and love. In my case, I may have to content myself with reading your articles or I may have to revise my study priorities if ever I may decide to exchange profound thoughts with you on the subject that you cherish. By the way your article proves also one thing: that our Catholic faith is both based on tradition and on the Bible.
