The amazing thing is what a beautiful month this November has been in Ontario. After a rainy October, we've had several weeks of bright, mild weather. It's been a pleasure for me as I recommit myself to the habit of morning walks.

This morning as I marvelled at the rich embroidery of frost on goldenrod clusters, I thought of you, and remembered, "I've got to read that article about the Great Lakes!" I've been busy, but it's high time I caught up.

I guess the Great Lakes have given us a reprieve this year, and fond as I am of blue skies, I can't say I mind.
