I don't know whether it was this kind of storm or not, but a major snowstorm hit Ontario (and the Northeastern US) on January 27. I believe it was our heaviest snowfall since January 1999.

Hi Silvan,

No, not a bomb cyclone, though a big storm. It was more a typical Colorado low that actually filled a bit as it moved to Ontario. Ontario was in the NE sector where most major accumulations occur.
