Hi Lauri - I am fascinated in dreams - I dream a lot and usually remember most, if not all of them, and so I've subscribed to your column for some insights! I became fascinated with dreams when I had one dream several years ago which was so ridiculous I remembered it and still do. I live in Western Australia. The capital, Perth is built on the north side of the Swan River, and on the other is Fremantle. In my dream there were no bridges crossing the river - to get across to the city you had to swing across on a vine (like Tarzan - but in reality you could never do this - the river being much too wide! smile ) But everyone was too scared to do this because there were large crocodiles in the river, waiting to catch people who fell. (In reality - there are no crocodiles in the Swan River!) One day my friends and I wanted to go to the cinema in the city but they were afraid to swing across - I wasn't, and after I swung across, they followed me. Anyhow, cutting a long dream short, coming home again we met the same problem. Too scared to swing across the river - once again, I went first, but this time I noticed something which changed EVERYBODY's view of swinging across the river. The crocodiles weren't real crocodiles. They were Golden Retrievers (yes, dogs!) dressed up as crocodiles!!! And harmless! So everyone swung across the river after that, quite happily.
There! What do you make of that dream! smile
