» neile - what is a dream ? what is a dream ? it is a reality. a reality that exists and continues to have its own life even after the dream has ended. they are psychic events imbued with the energy of your mind. this reality is only a mirror of past events. events that have had a pretrial in your mind and that you've agreed on a deeper level than the conscious mind to engage in. nothing important happens in life before it is first experienced in the dream state. like a race car driver doing test runs on the track to check the conditions of his engine and the traction of the track so our greater unconscious runs thru its trial runs of what direction our lives will go in and what areas of our life need change. what you wake up with in your head is just a dim three dimensional symbol of something much grander and much greater in scope and power than your conscious mind can possibly imagine. you cant say definitively that your dream symbols are tied to the society that you live in--some people arent very social consciousness minded or entranced. there is such a thing as a universal set of dream symbols that the deeper mind uses it is called urdu. but really the psyche is such an individualized thing on such minute and extensive levels that dream symbols can only be subjective indicators connected specifically with the soul of the dreaming personality and cannot fruitfully be tied or interpreted by any kind of socialogical systems of thought. its easy to unveil the meaning behind ones individual set of dreams symbols--just ask your higher mind before you go to bed to explain what the symbols mean when the dream ends..like the narrator of a documentary movie your higher mind will simply and decisively descry the cryptic terminology of the unconsciousness and bring to light the great truths of your spirit. i am open to discussion on these points....thank you..neile-- posted by neile » moonstonewolf - Re: what is a dream ? In response to message posted by neile:Hmmm, you do bring up some interesting points. I have often thought the same things myself. I find that I can sometimes, months after a particular dream, go back into the same setting and find that things have progressed beyond what I had left off prior to that. Also, if I would eat a huge meal in my dreams would wake up (in this reality?) and feel both full and taste the food that I just ate. I have also experienced dreams where I have somehow brought something back with me (such as a lock of hair) or a flower when it's winter outside. I am very open to discussion on this. Thank you for bringing it up. ~Always~ -- posted by moonstonewolf » neile - Re: Re: what is a dream ? In response to message posted by moonstonewolf:thanks for responding moonstone. there are many types of dreams. and dreams can be affected by alot of differing factors...such as stress, food(spicy or alcholic), exercise or lack thereof, noisy environments etc. when we leave our bodies at night we spend most of our time in the astral plane...with the accompaniment of our entire subconscious mind(to give you an example of the conscious and unconscious---look at your hand..the fingernail on your pinky represents your conscious mind...the entire rest of your body represents your unconscious). you can do anything, study anything and experience anything in the astral plane...but more importantly the astral forms about the body(dreambody) like water --an enclosing field that mirrors to yourself whatever state of mind you happen to be in.that you wake up with a flower is hard to believe but not impossible...avatars have the power to materialize anything they want ...if its true then you are a powerful psychic and should talk to someone in the field who has some expertize--you never know you're probably missing your calling....But its true that we run thru probable realities in the dream state and people do experience de javu because they have experienced the event already before hand. this physical reality is just regurgitated astral events...sounds nice doesnt it ? lolol but of course there are variables because we have the conscious mind to change things...and nothing is ever exactly the same.... you can do alot of things with dreams...i know of two people who programed themselves to get info on the stock market(they were stockbrokers) when they awoke in the morning to help them with their investments...well in four years they were millionaires !! of course sex in the astral is outta this world (literally..lol) and thats always a fun pastime...lol... but really if someone wants to open their minds up or if you wanted ( like the ancient greeks) to really 'know yourself' thats a good way to do it--thru dream analysis...how can we really know who we are if we dont know the forces(archetypes) th neile -- posted by neile
