» paleogeoff - Earth Sciences Rock! Christine, Great article. Thank you for pointing out some of the more spectacular museums that have wonderful geology exhibits. The only one I would add would be the American Museum of Natural History in New York. The Gottsman Hall of Planet Earth explains many of the earth's processes, plus the museum has a wonderful collection of gems and minerals, and meteroites. And don't forget they have one of the best fossil collections in the country.-- posted by paleogeoff
