Just a note: We have five planetariums in WA State if anyone's interested and can't get to the ones listed in this article.

(1) The Pacific Science Center Willard H. Smith Planetarium in Seattle.

(2) The Geer Planetarium at Bellevue Community College in Bellevue.

(3) The George Stahl Planetarium at Eastern Washington University in Cheney.

(4) Washington State University Planetarium at Pullman.

(5) Western Wasshington University Planeterium in Bellingham.

In college I was president of the astronomy club and as such I got to operate the schools planetarium. It was rather old, and I always wanted to try one of the newer models, but it was still functional and it pleased many a school child and family groups touring the campus. We even used it to help familiarize the troops from Ft. Riley before they went to Saudia Arabia in 1990.
