Hi Mary,

Cone-shaped serrated teeth? Wow! This is definitely a scary creature. Fascinating to read about, but I wouldn't want to meet one. I enjoy these articles about dinosaurs (or pre-dinosaurs). The photo is terrific.

that we are able to learn so much about these prehistoric creatures from their bones. This is a new one to me, Mary, as I guess I'm just not up on this field. Very interesting beings.

Tina,

Dinosaurs of any kind are not something that you'd want to meet, but it is fascinating researching and studying them.

Just to let you know, archaeologists uncovered a female dinosaur in Alberta this week and it had two eggs inside of it that had never been laid. Mom heard it on the news and I'm going to buy a newspaper tomorrow to see if I can find out more about it. Sounds interesting. We still have a lot to learn about these beasts that roamed our planet thousands of years ago.

Jerri,

I love learning about dinosaurs and haven't researched them much in years. This week's find in Alberta is described in the thread above. I'm hoping to be able to learn more about it. Mom didn't remember what kind of dinosaur the mother was. I will be checking the newspaper and internet to find out more. If I am successful, I will post some information here.

Tina,

I have the newspaper, but haven't had a chance to read it yet and missed the TV news tonight. I'm hoping to find out exactly what the archaelogists found.

Great write-up Mary. I do love dinos! Did you ever wonder how dino meat tasted? Hey, I love that animated graphic of the green grasshopper or whatever it is. Have you seen those boxes of wood bone dinos? They are so much fun to put together. Your boys would love them.
