Mary, I did not know most of this and how interesting to read about these dangerous creatures. Box Jellyfish? Never even heard of it.
Of course, I hate snakes (worms, too). I saw a worm the other day that was 2 1/4 feet long. It must have been at least 100 years old. At first, I thought it was a snake. It was so long, it could barely move across the ground.

Lee,

I'm glad that you were able to learn from the article. These creatures are all very interesting. I love learning about species that we aren't familiar with in Canada.

Wow! That worm must have been very old. I have seen them that were about 9 inches long, but nothing bigger than that. Thanks for telling us about it. Was this worm in your yard or garden?

Wow, Lee, I had no idea that a worm could get that big or that old. Creep, yet fascinating.

Mary, this is a very interesting list. I never would have guessed that the polar bear was the most dangerous bear. I would have guessed the grizzly. But now that I read your article, it makes a lot of sense that the polar bear would be more dangerous. Thank you!

Tina,

Before I did the research on this article, I would have guessed that the Grizzly was the most dangerous bear also. But like you say, it makes sense that polar bears would be. Either way, I wouldn't want to meet up with one while hiking in the woods. smile

Thanks for dropping by. I hadn't heard from you in a few days and wondered if you were ill.

» jerrib - I always thought

Grizzly bears were the most dangerous, Mary. I have learned something new from you.

Hope I don't meet with any of these creatures in the wild!
