» Tina_Coruth - Very interesting!

Hi Mary,

When I think of hibernation, I always think of bears. I never realized that skunks and chipmunks hibernate, too. That is very interesting. Thank you. smile

Hi Tina,

Glad that you found the article interesting. It was fun doing the research. I got the idea because the boys were learning about hibernation at school. They gave me a lot of the facts and then I went from there.

Hope you're having some sunshine. Wish we could see some here.

if humans get a bit of the instinct to hibernate: in the fall we get out our soup recipes, light a fire and curl up with a good book, etc. LOL!

I enjoyed this article, Mary. Do stop by my place and read about a Washington beach when you get a chance.

Jerri,

Yes, I like to hibernate in the winter, especially when the snow is 2 feet deep or it is minus 20. LOL I hate sticking my nose out the door. Of course all of the shoveling falls to me. Hubby isn't allowed to shovel because of his heart condition. But it's not really so bad if it's not snowing and blowing.

That beach sounds wonderful. Sorry I haven't been over lately. It's been hectic here, but will try to get over later.
