You know, you're right. The Park is a great place from a photographic standpoint alone. great shadows, exotic settings, wonderful candids of people, children, sidewalk artists, and yes, the animals at the Zoo are also great subjects if you've got a decent telephoto lens.

Thanks for the tip! I may have to ask you to write a guest article on photographing Balboa Park...
