» desertblue - Where do you go in San Diego?

My favorites depend on my mood, whether i want to be enetertained, have a picnic, go hiking, or check out a museum. What are people's San Diego faves?

To me, it's the beach.

Jill, isn't there a big old hotel located in San Diego? It's the one that was used in the TV show "Fantasy Island". I think it was also used in the move "Some Like it Hot".

Balboa Park was such an awesome place, Jill. All I ever heard about was the zoo.

I've never been to San Diego, but I'd sure love to go there!

HI guys! thanks for stopping by smile

Mo, It's the Coronado Del Hotel, a big, glamorous old-style Hollywood star retreat, right on the Ocean and Bay. And yes, featured in Some Like It Hot, but I didn't know that about Fantasy Island.

Jerri, Balboa Park has a lot to offer, but it's frequented almost more by locals than tourists. Which is not a bad thing! The Zoo gets a big chunk of the tourism scene, just like Sea World.

Smart San Diegans just get season passes to both...and don't go on weekends ;)
