I recommend jacking up the wheel in question and spin it around to see if it wobbles or if you hear a grinding noise. The wheel could possibly have been bent somehow by a pothole or curb, or either the inside or outside wheel bearings may be worn bad enough to have scored the spindle causing the wheel to tilt some to one side.

If the wheel spins true without any wobble of any kind, you probably have a defective tire that may not have cured in the mold properly on one side causing it to wear quicker. That occasionally happens with tires.

Check your wight distribution front to back on your trailer if you are off or the trailer is riding tilted to one end or the other can cause undue weight thus wear on a tire.
