Black Spot removal....aluminum siding

» airjack - Black Spot removal I've tried everything that Camping World, Wally-World, and every other company has to offer on the black spot that's on the aluminum siding of my 27' travel trailer. Never had any luck. Recently, I tried something called 'Mean Green' (with degreaser) from the Dollar Store and the black spot came off with very little rubbing. I finished the whole trailer in just a few hours using the cheapest product with the best results.-- posted by airjack » Tom - Re: Black Spot removal In response to message posted by airjack:Sounds like the black spot may have been road tar that can get splashed onto vehicles while traveling through construction sites. Road tar can also be removed with WD 40, then wash with soap and water and rinse. It is RV-455 and if you do a search on your computer I am sure you can locate the web site and the toll-free number!
