» reddeer20 - Full timing

Hi Barry,

Just happened upon your site. Hubby and I decided to go full timing some time back in 01. We had a business to sell along with a fairly large house with a lifetime of "stuff". We spent quite a bit of time looking into suitable motor coaches which is what our RV of choice came to be.

Then it started to happen, our business sold, people came knocking on our door asking to buy our house and we put our furniture, etc. up for sale. We had about a month and a half to get everything settled and moved out. Well it all got done, but our bus was late in arriving and we could not pick it up and pack till 2 days before we were to move out of the house. We had to stay around for a few months as hubby had to help the new owner get the business going. We finally took off (from Calgary, Canada) in mid August and have been on the road since.

In that time we have visited 8 provinces and 17 states. We are currently settled down for a while at Bradenton Fla till mid March and then we have to head back to Canada for a while. Yes there have been times that we have wondered if we were crazy, but we have also seen so much, met so many nice people and just felt so free.

We have also had the pleasure of meeting 7 personas from Suite 101 in our travels and found them all to be just great people and so gracious to us.

Well, at our park we are getting ready for a New Year's gala - so ta for now. Perhaps we shall run into each other in our travels.

Happy Trails & Happy New Year.
