» edel - Russian history

Alexander thank you for this.I am very interested in Russian history and I must confess to my great shame that I know very little of it.
I have read some of the great Russian authors, never miss a documentary on Russia, frequent some Russian restaurants in my city, have attended a few Russian cultural events but I'm afraid that this is negligible as awareness of the great country that Russia is,the diversity of its people and the breadth of its culture.
I am a north American, Canadian to be precise and I look forward to reading more of you. Perhaps I will come to be able to ask intelligent questions and hold an interesting discussion on your chosen subject. In the meantime I shall endeavor to follow some of the links you have put up and try to enlighten myself.Again I thank you and I look forward to your next article.

» PhilippaJane - Welcome to the Suite

Wonderful stage setting for your topic Alexander. Russia seems very far away from New Zealand, but I have always been fascinated by its history, and I am certainly looking forward to learning more through your articles. Perhaps you could recommend some good books? I've read a few fictional works, but would appreciate some advice on some further reading.
Anyway welcome to the suite.

» Terrie_Bittner - I'm sorry I'm so late getting in here with my welcome.

I'm sorry I'm so late getting in here with my welcome. I've been driving across country on a move. Anyway, I'm so glad to have you in the history section. Russian history fascinates me and you were very kind to change your application to this topic when I asked you to. I'm excited to have a chance to learn more about this topic.

» Fantushinka - Good luck!

Ah, best wishes to the person who was given my topic without my notification. I hope you will enjoy hearing from so many people around the world as I did. I received a multitude of email comments and questions and was so happy to see my articles from suite101 appear on a number of other websites, including Russian ones.

I do hope Suite101 treats you well. You are certainly off to a good start, since you will actually be paid!
