» edel - Russian history Alexander thank you for this.I am very interested in Russian history and I must confess to my great shame that I know very little of it.I have read some of the great Russian authors,never miss a documentary on Russia, frequent some Russian restaurants in my city,have attended a few Russian cultural events but I'm afraid that this is negligible as awareness of the great country that Russia is,the diversity of its people and the breadth of its culture. I am a north American, Canadian to be precise and I look forward to reading more of you. Perhaps I will come to be able to ask intelligent questions and hold an interesting discussion on your chosen subject. Russia seems very far away from New Zealand, but I have always been fascinated by its history, and I am certainly looking forward to learning more through your articles. Perhaps you could recommend some good books?
