All the while I read it I kept thinking that someday someone else will find the folder, read its contents, and discover a long, lost grandmother, aunt, or friend of very long ago. Thank you so much, Mary Trotter Kion -- posted by Mary Trotter Kion » SandyMcC - good read You really caught the mood of the moment with good writing. It was long, but I couldn't stop. I didn't want to, I wanted to know, what happened to Cathy? I guess we'll never know, but how interestingly you immersed ME into her life. So she could live on yet one more hour. Thanks.-- posted by SandyMcC » Fort_Spunky - Cathy Ana,This is a beautifully written story that touched me. You have a gift for drawing the reader into the moment. Lovely descriptions. I'm sure many of us can identify with searching an old photograph for clues to the personality of the person in the picture. And although tragedy probably came into Cathy's life at an early age, the mementoes of her life have lived on to share her story with all of us. I'll be back to visit again. All the best to you, Linda -- posted by Fort_Spunky » Anastasiya03 - Re: Cathy In response to message posted by Fort_Spunky:I'm glad you liked my story; thanks so much. Hope to see you here some time soon... By the way -- an this addresses all of my readers -- I was wondering if I have any Anastasia fans around??? I've read books and books on the subject, but I'm not sure whether someone would really want to read an article about her. If you do, let me know!!! -- posted by Anastasiya03 » sujata1 - Re: Re: Cathy Anastasiya:Your story of Cathy is so touching and so beautifully written. Your writing took me into that antique store with you and gave me a peek into Cathy's. Thank you! Re: anastasia, I am very interested in knowing more. I have read some articles, watched some shows on her, but it is a fascinating story. Did she survive or did she not? I also find the story of her brother fascinating. Did he survive or not? These questions are always on my mind. -- posted by sujata1 » Anastasiya03 - Re: Re: Re: Cathy I'm glad I've found someone interested! The fact is, we will never know for sure whether any of the Romanov children survived or not. However, I am writing an article on it so check back soon and read into it!!!Thanks once again for the great comments, Ana -- posted by Anastasiya03 » thebattwoman - We need more writers like you. In response to message posted by Anastasiya03:Ana this was absolutely delightful, you drew me towards Cathy like a moth to a flame. What is nice about not knowing her ending is that we can imagine one, one that was hopefully as regal as herself. Thank you for this very moving piece of writing. -- posted by thebattwoman » Anastasiya03 - Re: Really good.
