Recently I was asked about a wine that I was drinking at a party. It was a Georgian Khinzmauruli, a delcious red wine. The man who aksed me had no idea that there was even a country named Georgia, much less that the oldest wine industry in the world was based there. Sad commentary of the times....this man is a university grad, a professional (lawyer) & supposedly a wine connieuseur...! Anyway I wrote this article to educate & enlighten folks on Georgian spirits.
