Thanks Jerrib!
The Republic of Georgia is small & has been considered by Westerners for so many years as being "Russian" that most folks think of it without any culture, cuisine or language of its own. Not so....! In my article I have attempted to point out that this is the land where thoughout history excitng & important things have happened: Jason's search for thr Golden Fleece was there; Troy (actually several of the Troy's) were there; "Silk Road" caravans passed through Georgia regularly for several thousand years; Genghis Khan's hordes went through there; the wines have been famous since before the time of Alexander the Great! Georgia may be a small country but their culture is so rich & so deep that I felt it was necessary to share it. Thanks for your input!
